Press release 10.7.2026

Around 350 exhibitors have registered so far for FinnMETKO 2026. The exhibition will feature all major manufacturers and suppliers of heavy machinery, commercial vehicles, equipment and spare parts, as well as companies operating in the logistics, earthmoving, forestry and energy sectors. In addition, a wide range of service providers, industry associations, educational institutions and other stakeholders from the machinery industries will be represented.

"Sales of exhibition stands started just over a year ago, and demand has been strong from the very beginning. With less than two months to go until the event, we are still receiving new registrations almost every day," says Tapio Hirvikoski, Exhibition Director.

Demand has also been strong from international exhibitors, making FinnMETKO more international than ever before. In addition to exhibitors from across Europe, companies from North and South America as well as the Far East will be participating.

"The number of international exhibitors has more than doubled compared to the previous exhibition," Hirvikoski says.

"We have also received considerably more enquiries from international visitors than before. There is clear interest in Finnish expertise and Finnish products. We are pleased to contribute to promoting Finnish exports in this way."

More Than 100 Hectares of Cutting-Edge Technology

There will be plenty to see and experience at FinnMETKO, with the exhibition covering more than 150 hectares. The revised site layout introduced at the previous exhibition received excellent feedback from both visitors and exhibitors, and the same layout will be used again this year.

At the northern end of the exhibition area lies the former Kaakkolampi gravel pit, which will once again host the earthmoving machinery section. Here, machines will be demonstrated in an authentic working environment typical of the earthmoving industry.

In addition to the static exhibition stands, visitors can once again enjoy live forestry harvesting demonstrations. Thinning operations will take place in the northern section of the site. A new feature this year is live energy wood harvesting demonstrations in the central part of the exhibition area, where several exhibitors will showcase their equipment in action.

"With so much to see and experience, visitors should allow plenty of time for their visit. They can already familiarise themselves with the exhibitors and the locations of their stands through our website or via the event app, which was launched this week. The website and the link to the event app are available at www.finnmetko.fi," Hirvikoski says.

FinnMETKO 2026 will be open to the public from 3–5 September 2026, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
