The FinnMETKO exhibition once again saw plenty of sales and a great atmosphere

Even the chilly wind couldn’t bring down the good mood at the FinnMETKO 2022 exhibition. The exhibition saw 330 exhibitors making plenty of sales.

-    “Exhibitors’ and visitors’ comments were very positive. People clearly felt the need to attend a large exhibition and to make purchases and sales, as well as to learn more about new products and meet friends from various heavy machinery fields,” says exhibition director Tapio Hirvikoski, who was satisfied with the event.

A total of 28,120 visitors attended the three-day FinnMETKO event, which ended today. 

Jukka Rautakoski from Kalajoki won the Ykköskuski Finnish championships for earthmoving machinery drivers organized on Saturday, the last day of the exhibition. Sasu Perämäki from Virrat came second, with Mikael Järvinen from Tampere taking third place.

The next FinnMETKO exhibition will be held in Jämsä from 29.–31.8.2024. It will be the 20th FinnMETKO exhibition. The first FinnMETKO exhibition was organised in 1987.

The FinnMETKO 2022 professional and sales trade fair is Finland’s main event for the heavy machinery industry. The organizer responsible for FinnMETKO 2022 is Finnmetko Oy. The organizations behind the exhibition are the Trade Association of Finnish Forestry and Earthmoving Contractors and Keski-Suomen Koneyrittäjät ry.
